Flinders Ports has awarded a scholarship to John Pirie Secondary School’s 2017 Dux, Jacob Tilley, for his demonstrated academic excellence in achieving the highest ATAR score of 95.65 at the school.
Jacob has been accepted into university in South Australia and is excited to be studying a Bachelor of Electronic Engineering.
“I greatly appreciate the recognition I received for my outstanding academic achievement in Year 12, and the support leading up to the transition to University. I am a passionate engineering student and in my future career I hope to greatly impact society in the growing technological age. The Flinders Ports scholarship will assist me immensely in achieving my dream.”
