Flinders Adelaide Container Terminal (FACT) has welcomed the recent appointment of David Sleath, former FACT Operations Manager, to the role of General Manager at the busy container terminal.
Mr Sleath, a born and bred Adelaide local, was officially appointed to the role of Flinders Adelaide Container Terminal General Manager in February 2018. David takes over the reins from Steve Cox who departed the role in late 2017.
Mr Sleath has a vast knowledge of the operational requirements of the container terminal as he held the role of the FACT Operations Manager for seven years. He has extensive experience in the daily workings of the terminal and working constructively with FACT’s clients and stakeholders.
He is also a Master Mariner and holds science, maritime supply chain, leadership and Business Management qualifications.
