Flinders Warehousing and Distribution are implementing Inbound Connect at Outer Harbor.
From Wednesday 5th February 2025, FWD is implementing a new vehicle appointment system called Inbound Connect.
Why are we doing this?
- To enable us to provide the most efficient service possible for both our clients and the transport operators that utilise our facility, including faster and more reliable truck turnaround times.
- To ensure the safety of our staff and visitors is at the highest possible standard while at FWD.
What does this mean for Transport Operators?
From Wednesday 5th February 2025, transport operators will be required to make a timeslot booking with Inbound Connect for every truck arriving to pick up or drop-off freight at FWD, Outer Harbor.
To make a timeslot booking, transport operators will be required to register an account with Inbound Connect if they have not previously done so.

When using Inbound Connect, you will be charged a service fee of $30 per pick up or drop off. This fee ensures that we can provide additional benefits to our customers that ensure:
- More efficient turnaround times
- Minimise wait times
- Less Detention Charges
The process of completing timeslot bookings at FWD via Inbound Connect is mandatory from Wednesday 5th February 2025, and vehicles arriving without a valid timeslot booking cannot be serviced.
What should Transport Operators do now?
- Log on to Inbound Connect and register an account if you have not previously done so.
- To create an account, click “Register” at the top of the home page and complete the details OR for a one-off booking please click One-Off Details and complete your registration.
